Daniel Muzillo




Daniel Muzillo, age 91, of Adrian, died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at Whispering Pines. He was born Dec. 30, 1924, in Adrian to Carl and Josephine (Fabiano) Muzillo. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946. He was employed with Quality Farm and Fleet for 35 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, American Legion Post 97, and attended St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Jackson.

Daniel is survived by three daughters, Denise Muzillo of Jackson, Aimee Muzillo of Adrian and Cara (Keith) Ramsey of Rock Hill, S.C.; a sister, Mary (Ken) Kitson of Tecumseh; and four grandchildren, Gilbert Adams, Drew Bonney, Daniel Schwyn and Loralee Schwyn. In addition to his wife, Vonda, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James (Dorothy) and Michael (Fran) Muzillo; two sisters, Rose (Larry) Zimmer and Phyllis Robinson.

The Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Kurian Kollapallil as celebrant. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, with full military rites conducted by the Adrian American Legion Post 97 and Annis-Fint V.F.W. Post 1584. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at the Anderson Funeral Home where there will be a Vigil Prayer Service held at 7 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
